M-PROBE is a software for the acquisition, filing and elaboration of microscopic fluorescent images. It is designed for the fast and easy acquisition of fluorescent images under non-ideal conditions such as very weak fluorescent signals, strong background interference or very small probe concentrations. The M-PROBE software makes management, elaboration, and analysis of fluorescent images easy.
THE CCD
CAMERAS
M-PROBE supports
various types of CCD cameras to satisfy the different needs of the
user.

Image
Mix
– This function has 20 different features that you can use
to mix two images. |
|
|
Color
Map Correction
– This function allows you to correct the color map and
to modify a single RGB color component in your image by
increasing or decreasing its intensity. |
|
|
LUT
Modification
– This function allows you to modify the Look Up Table. In this table you may
change the color histogram, the signal amplification or
the noise reduction level, either all at the same time or
separately. |

Intensification - M-PROBE software has a built-in algorithm that simulates a CCD camera’s frame integration. You can improve low signal images without having to repeat the image acquisition process. |

Images
impossible to capture with a traditional photographic system are now
as easy as a click of your mouse to capture with M-PROBE.
When
you display an image, M-PROBE automatically displays
it in True Color (24bit) format, but it is capable of acquiring an
image with up to 16bit per acquisition channel.
Color
CCD cameras and monochrome CCD cameras may be used. Color CCD cameras
are used together with double and triple filters thereby eliminating
the use of pseudo-colors and shift-correction. Monochrome CCD cameras
require the manual exchange of filters or the use of special motorized
filter-wheels. Although you need more works,
due to the operations of shift-correction, of applying pseudo-colors,
and of image overlapping, a higher sensibility and a higher resolution
is normally achieved.
Using
color CCD color cameras makes it possible to gather all probe signals
without having to acquire a different image for each probe.
The
notable saving of time you have using M-PROBE allows you to increase
the usability of your specimen for further use.
When
your research requires the maximum definition, it is possible to connect
the software to CCD cameras with high resolution starting from 1024*1024
pixels with 10bits or more.
The
software is an integrated and modular system equipped with all the
necessary functions and features for photo-editing and image processing;
nevertheless the software supports interaction with many commercial
photo-editing applications for Windows environment.
The
modularity of M-PROBE
combines in one unit a system for fluorescence image processing, image
filing, image analysis, chromosome analysis, and many others.
M-PROBE
is compatible with any type of PC printer or digital film recorder.
Printers from inkjets to sublimation dye printers or Digital film
recorders can be easily used.
